Well this is immensely disappointing.
Since starting my new job the only thing that has kept me posting at a remotely regular schedule has been the weekly photo challenge – so to discover it is to be no more is a bit of a shock.
I suppose I’m just going to have to be more disciplined in going out and having some fun with the camera…
Anyway, it’s All-Time Favorites time!
There’s only one photo to start with and it’s not the photo of a stag drinking from a pond (that everyone seems to prefer) but my favourite photo from my trip to Richmond Park.

That’s the shot I wanted!, Richmond Park, 12/12/2017
I’m far too biased to know if this is actually the best photo I took that day but for the moment I’m sticking to my guns! The Richmond Park trip was a 2 post special if you want to have a rummage through and pick a fav – just don’t everyone pick the drinking stag photo.
Now there were always going to be photos from Epsom common in here but I’ve picked one without any deer in as a favourite. This old looking photo I took during the visit of ‘the Beast from the East’. It was snowing pretty heavily when I took it which I think is what gives it that ‘timelessness’ feel – we’re one heavily cloaked highwayman away from a Victorian thriller.

And a black and white, Epsom Common, Epsom, 02/03/2018
More recently it’s been wedding season and, seeing as I haven’t edited any from Hattie and Tom’s yet, it’s Wendy and Martin’s wedding that will feature in this post.
I didn’t edit them all to be in black and white – I just seem to pick them as favourites.
See. Colour photo.
Fine, so just the one colour photo. I’m beginning to think I prefer black and whites – in fact that’s only 2 out of the 7 photos here that are in colour… let me find another colour photo.
I found 2 – just don’t complain that they’re more deer photos.
And with that, the end of the weekly photo challenge. I’ll continue to post photos on the blog but will miss rummaging through others photos so I’ll have to be a little more proactive with that.
