Deer on Ashtead Common

I was beginning to wonder where all the deer had gone having only caught glimpses of them over the past couple of months but I finally found a co-operative one. It probably helped that it was lying down as they tend to be a bit slower then. I happened to bump into the only other person on the common (probably as it had just finished hailing) whilst snapping this one and we managed to scare it off whilst excitedly asking each other if the other had seen it. Never mind, managed to get a nice photo and hopefully didn’t annoy it too much!
